After a busy summer on mainland Scotland, we're delighted that Peerie Polly is now back home in Shetland. She is now in Lerwick to spend the winter with our friends at the Shetland Garden Co. The succesful social enterprise is part of COPE Ltd and provides employment and skill development for adults with learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
Peerie Polly is enjoying her new spot in the garden centre, nestled among the fantastic range of trees, plants, tools, accessories and gifts. The Christmas room is now open and we're expecting Peerie Polly to be surrounded by a fabulous stock of Christmas trees, due to arrive soon.
Visitors to the garden centre at Shetland Garden Co. are welcome to nip inside Peerie Polly for a look round to get an idea of the growing space available in our smallest Polycrub. Although at only 2.5m long (so that she could fit on the trailer) she's actually a peerie bit shorter than our actual 3m x 3m smallest size.
